Pics of the header and dual exhaust system

Looks nice!!! I can hardly wait to get my new one on from Mike myself! :D :D

I forgot to mention that I can hear the exhaust system moving around when I drive. You can hear it sway. It's not very loud and you hear it most when you go over bumps and dips. Is this common on the I6 dual exhaust setup?

No, the exhaust should not be moving around.

I would really like to get a sound clip on the Borla's through a 6. I'll be glad to host it for you.

I will see what I can do. I don't have anything to record the sound but I would like to get a digital camcorder soon.

That's not a bad exhaust setup... I just had one done on my Falcon on Monday...

It consists of a Clifford Dual Shorty Header, 2" aluminized pipes running into 2 12" long Turbo Pack mufflers and Meg's oval tips... Really sounds great for a six! I think I spent less than $500 for the whole system which isn't bad considering.

I am curious how different it sounds to yours. We need to setup a page with sound clips!

Nice header & exhaust... mmm... Borlas...
Hey- that looks like the same carb I run on my 200

i would love to hear those borlas...i didnt think they made a borla to fit a classic..... i just threw a flowmaster on mine. wanted borla though.... DAMN!!!!

I agree with Justin that the Borla's sound the best. I'd say 99% of the people that saw my car (friends, neighbors and people at car shows) commented on the exhaust first. I even got a little award from the local car show for the best sound ever heard out of a 6 :).

Any 2" center in center out muffler can get you a stock dual setup...

Beware running the muffler in front of the axle, it can and usually does produce a nice interior sound.

Mine sounds fantastic, I wanted a quiet ride, but some action when you lay it WOT.

I ran Flowmaster 70 series out and up over the axle through the valance like the 65 GT setup, it is fantastic. Borlas were my first choice, but budget had me make this alternative, and so far I am not unhappy, the car sounds great, these are quieter than the 40 series by far, and have a deeper almost big truck tone to them, makes the car sound like a 302... I have not found anyone yet who was expecting the six when I open the hood...

Now down the road, if I get some cash, I might swap out the borlas, I am working on getting a camera to shoot some footage and make Quicktimes out of, soon as I do I will pass them on to post!
