piston rings whats the best

what would be the best rings to get for the best wear and power , if it matters its for a 250

go for moly rings ,they are stronger and last longer .recommeded for rebores, not so good in a hone job as they are quite hard and can take a bit to run in. Try and get a "file fit" set as you can then adjust your ring end gaps.

Make sure you get a great load of info on fitting rings. I've found David Vizards Small Block Chevy book covers most of the things that can go wrong.

8) i like moly rings. for a brand i like perfect circle and federal mogul.
