Nope - same partTCSTEVE":3335qtir said:Guys i kjnow this may seem like a stupid question, are the yella terra roller roccas for the pre Xflow head any different for a 2V?
Nope - specific part I thinkTCSTEVE":3335qtir said:And is there a cheap alternative like the Clevo Vee-Eight stuff is for the X flows?
how much for a set of EL Lifters?addo":347ov9ay said:Or two EL drivelines that had roller as standard... Now you see where I'm at.

How about a 2.8l turbo Isuzu diesel?addo":2hzniy53 said:And I like the quirky swaps as well - a Hudson or Chrysler flat six install would be cool but practicality leads me back to the Ford engines.
addo":2jtk8j10 said:But I get narked by business decisions such as that with the rockers, diminishing availability (read pricepoints) of 221 and 2V stuff, comparative cheapness of the OHC cars and marginalising of the whole "car as an active hobby" scene. People are so hocked up, mid-grade modifications are really dying out. It's either a dangerous piece of junk, or a mortgage-worth of paint and billet. I've no interest in associating with either group.
I'll never own another Vee-Eight unless it's a resale decision on a new car. And I like the quirky swaps as well - a Hudson or Chrysler flat six install would be cool but practicality leads me back to the Ford engines.
Nope - I'm looking for a diesel engine that will go nicely into an XY engine bay for our Bio-Diesel future...addo":j939bqah said:Hope you were joking about the Isuzu motor, Mr ZC. Other interesting donks would be the AH six - all alloy version by CHI, the 265 and 225 Val units, blown Offy four, a retro-build flattie with Riley or Navarro gear, XJ six, maybe even a Merc diesel if they are tweakable...
