Priming my oiling system?

I've assembled the motor (stock 200) with adjustable rocker arms. I made a mistake that I hope didn't ruin the rocker arm. I drilled out the oiling holes as mentioned in the FSP handbook. However, I drilled out both the rocker arm side and the push rod side. When priming the oiling system, oil flowed from the push rod side holes but not the valve side holes. Is that normal? I'd hate to reassemble without knowing that the valve side of the rocker arm was going to recieve enough oil.
