its a very proud day gentlemen, i just painted my car and shot on the clearcoat. i painted my 66 a nice bright new ford white. theres so much clearcoat on it that the frame looks like glass or porcelan. :rolflmao: all i have to do is take the tranny to the shop, itll be the only thing i havent done myself on the whole restoration, then replace the brakes. after that, i put the front seat in, put a little gas in, and take her to get her first fill up. i just recently got to visit the BORLA plant out in oxnard, california while i was on vacation. i didnt get to go in and tour, but i did get a picture of me in front of their mailbox (a borla muffler). anyways, i have my 15x7 eagle rims, what is possibly the biggest tire i can run and what company should i go for? also, since its the first tires and im kinda strapped, maybe a company thats a tad economical. if anyone has an opinion, im game. later yall

8) you can go as big as 225/60r-15 if you have 4" backspacing, but i recomend a 205/65r-15. that is likely what will go on my 66 stang. as for the rest,

You could stagger the tire sizes too... I'm running 14" American racing rims on all 4 corners, with 225/60/R14's in front and 225/70/R14's in back. The end result is a fuller look in the rear wheel openings, after replacing the rear leaf springs with V8 leafs and replacing the worn out rear shocks with KYB GR2 nitrogen shocks:

Personally I don't recommend a larger tire in the rear unless you've recently redone the rear suspension--you don't want to risk bottoming out with a larger tire in your wheel well.

A shop may not install staggered tires on your car though (for insurance purposes), so your best bet if you choose to stagger sizes is to bring the rims to the shop and have them mount the tires you want. Have them put the weights on the inside of the rim when they spin-balance so that way, there's no big hairy chunks of lead detracting from your wheels' appearance.

i dont have 14 inch wheels, i bought a set of 15x7's, and they are pretty pretty pretty. mustang monthly recommended a 225/50/ZR or HR 15, and from the pictures that were shown in the mag. im thinking about getting that size cause they looked realllll good. what comapny would any of yall recommend.

sorry also about the pics, but they are on just regular film, but ill try to transfer them onto the computer so i can put them on here.

later yall
