got it located ,just need to pipe it in,looking to get 500hp on the wheels

there is lots of room with the cowl hood,as far as the pipe length ,i dont see it being a problem .i wanted to put it on the pass. side but it would not fit without changing alot of things,and i did not feel like hacking up my car .
 
My turbo will cook (completely melt) anything that resembles rubber from 8 inches away or less. I Know a heat shield will do wonders since it is mostly all radiant heat doing the damage. You will need to do some very substantial insulating and shielding.
 
Is there any way you can get rid of the starter solenoid and mount the turbo where the battery tray is?? You will be MUCH happier with it on the pass side in the long run.
