Any updates?? Hows your car running this summer?

I got to meet a guy that runs a chevelle wagon with a 250 I6 that runs in the same class as you do. Nice guy to talk too.

Runs low 15's with slicks and open headers.

just had a think
you have to run stock pistons? do you have to run all the rings?
could you just use top ring and oil ring.
can you teflon the bearings?
also how much comp you running guys out here in restricted classes are running up 13.0:1 on pump fuel
also your allowed to balance your crank is way out take as much as possible with drills anther trick we use with same rules

This year the car has been consistently in the high 15.30's and low '40's. The 60ft times are better as well; 2.01 being the best so far. I have been concentrating on starting line routines to sharpen my bracket racing skills. There have been a couple of mechanical setbacks - a faulty fuel pump and some trans maintenance. Nothing too serious.

Doug, I think the Chevelle driver is Mike Warren. I may see him at one of the IHRA events at Grand Bend, Martin or Milan. We hope to be at all three. They have class runoffs at Martin. I think we are the only V/SA cars in this part of the continent!

Let me know when you run at Martin this year! I'll come up and watch!! Been up there 6 times allready and am going up again this Friday night and next friday night for the test & tunes.
