I've completely stripped down my spare engine and I ready to take to the machine shop. I'm having all the generalities done, but I'd like some input on quality replacement parts. i.e. bearings, pistons and rings. Any and all information would be appreciated...ZZ OH! it's for a '68 200, I6

8) fro pistons i generally prefer trw, but badger, kb silvolite's, venolia, probe, and ross are all good. the trw's and the badgers are going to be the least expensive of the group.
for rings i prefer perfect circle, but federal mogul also makes a good set. for ring type moly is the only way to go in my opinion.
for bearings federal mogul is the one i choose.
for gaskets, generaly i choose felpro.

Thanx, good information. I'm going to check on their prices. Yeah, I already went with the Fel-Pro.
We use them in 95% of gasket application at the Nuke plant I work at...ZZ
