Radiator Options for 250

250, duraspark 2, Carter RBS 1 barrel carb, 2 inch exhaust, no AC, no PS
What would you select?

2 row brass rad with flex fan (2 inch and 1.75 inch fittings)
-had this initially and overheated when brake master cylinder dragged

3 row brass rad with electric pusher fan (1.5 inch fittings)
-just recently noted the fittings are smaller than standard for 250

2 row alum rad with electrc pusher fan (2 inch and 1.75 inch fittings)
-rad had a little leak so would need repair, requires modifying the rad support, relocating the horns, and fabricating mounts.

Suggestions welcome!
 
Me too, and stay away from flex fans if you like hearing things while in the car. It was impossible to carry on a conversation in mine when I had one, the fan was louder than the glasspack exhaust, an exhaust leak and road noise put together.
 
Thanks for the suggestions.
Today I pulled out the 2 row larger fitting rad and mechanical fan.
Reinstalled the 3 brass 3-row smaller fitting rad and pusher fan.
Runs at about 190-195 degrees in most settings, electric fan kicks in if idling or speed < 15 mph for more than 5 minutes. Temp goes up to 210 at 75 mph up a hill on the freeway. If I can get the 2 row alum rad sealed up at the shop I'll think about mounting it.

Not sure if there is a hole...
As I recall last year there was a slow leak at the upper radiator inlet. It is possible that it was merely a loose hose (tried to tighten it of course which did not help). Alternatively there may be a leak at the seam where the inlet tube is welded to the radiator housing. I was going to see about having it pressure tested and if it leaked then have it repaired (if non too costly).
