Have picked up very odd, light mettalic "rattle" in what seems to be the middle 2 exhaust port areas on my recently rebuilt 200 with a Hooker header and port divider. This is the same motor I had all the trouble with the goofy reman dizzy in a couple of weeks ago. Got that straightened out, car has been running great until couple of days ago when this odd rattle started and it really sounds like its right where that port divider is installed in the 3-4 exhaust port. Anybody ever experience this before and if so, what would it really hurt to pull the darn thing out and just chuck it as long as I can get a really good seal on the header flange outer perimeter? Will I really lose that much performance or encounter any wierd exhaust turbulence pushing that big double port out through two individual holes? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Phil
