Rebuilt Engine Providers

Hey all,
I'm looking for a place to order a rebuilt (would prefer remanufactured) '65 200. Anybody know of a reputible source that offers a good warranty, etc?

Try ATK on the net. They have a 3 year warranty and a website where you can read all about it. This is the same provider that California Mustang uses. You'll have to E-mail them about the availability of what you want. Their list only goes back so far, but you can use later sixes if you know what you want.

I'm not flogging ATK, but they are close to you in Anaheim. Having said all that, I just found out that my #8 piston has a problem and is knocking. We'll find out how good the 3 year guarantee is shortly.

As a mechanic,

ATK was the only rebuilder that paid us full rate. It was rare that we had an engine problem... I seem to remember they sent a headgasket set, and rebuilt head for a motor that blew a gasket-plus a check based on the Mitchell time and our shop's hourly rate.
