Rocker Pedestal Lubrication

was looking for some guidance on a Rocker assembly. Have an engine out at a shop and the head and block have been decked, etc. Engine had a Non-adjustable rocker assembly in it originally and shop is looking to replace this with an adjustable assembly. This all sounds right as I have read that using an adjustable assembly is the right thing to do for a worked block/head. Shop has 6 adjustable rocker arms from another engine and they are looking for or will get 6 more somewhere. They will then reassemble this on the existing rocker shaft / pedestals. I wanted to ask if this is the right way to go, can adjustable arms be swapped out for the Non-adjustable ? Of concern is that in moving to the adjustable setup the push rods change to the cup style. I read somewhere that the original pushrods had a hole for oil lubrication and that the cup style do not have this lubrication channel. Adjustable rockers instead ( from what I read) get their lubrication from the Pedestal.

Can adjustable Rocker arms just be swapped / rebuilt onto the original Rocker assembly ? or is there something more going on in the pedestal that I need to be looking for.

Thanks in advance

Bill

The non adjustable or adjustable rockers will both use the same rocker shaft
