Electric radiator fans are common but would like to hear from anyone using or considering adding the electric water pump also. I read that the electric water pump can adjust their speed to match demand, reducing unnecessary power consumption and maintaining a target temperature. Apparently many major auto companies are using electric water pumps so they must be generally reliable. If the electric pump can move more water than the stock pump when required that could be a benefit for those living in hotter climates.
Electric fans are easily available at picnpul and have read that a Taurus 2 speed fan is popular and have also seen those using 2 smaller electric fans that can activate one fan or both as needed.
Not sure of any impact on the belt number and arrangement without the water pump pulley present. My Bronco has alternator and ps while others may have an ac compressor as well.
My recent considering using an electric fuel pump as a future modification prompted this as it seems new fuel pump quality is apparently not good.

I use both, made in Australia by Davies Craig, its a 400mm fan on the front side of the radiator. i also have the alloy body 115litre/minute water pump. because I run LPG I need to have this pump running all the time. I did try their controller but couldnt get it to work with my setup, so now I simple switch the fan on manually, this works OK. Keep in mind the pump use about 5A when running, the 400mm fans draws about 17A when running, so you need to run it via a relay, and your alternator needs to be able to keep up with it. I removed the belt drive water pump and made a plate to have the coolant enter the block through there, I run no thermostat, but do have a 20mm restrictor where the thermostst was, this keeps some pressure in the head. This works very well here in Australia with a V8 radiator and my blown 200ci engine. heres a picture of the pump and pipe.RIMG0165.JPG

Good feedback thank you. And comment on relays and amp draw bring up another question I will post separately.

I'm using a Meziere remote water pump no more overheating. You must make an adaptor plate for the hole where the water pump connects to the block.

We just gutted the stock water pump and used it with the inline Davies Craig pump.
The Davies Craig pumps have twice the longevity rating over the Meziere pumps.
