I took the car down to the mechanic to have the carb adjusted and he took it for a ride. He said he couldn't believe that I have never done anything like this before. He said the timing was dead on and it was hard to beleive that it was an I6 and not a V8 with the way it drove and sounded. He said I should have fooling alot of people this summer.
I was going to put a set of 16" or 17" wheels on it this year, but I think I am just going to keep it looking stock and have some fun.

I like how you organized everything such as the wires and placement of the linkage it looks very easy to maintance

Great job, the after pictures are awesome seemed like a totally different engine. I was wondering, if this was your first time doing this, what manuals did you use? I have a 67 and I'm in the process of putting it back together, oh yeah this is my first time as well. If you can give some hints and advices will be greatly appreciated.

The entire project took me took me about 2 1/2 months from the time I started taking everything apart. I spent several months before that researching and asking questions. I would highly advise doing that before you even pick up a wrench if it is your first time. I felt pretty confident about what I was doing before I started. I knew exactly which parts I needed to make everything work. Just remember there is not a stupid question on this forum. Everybody is very helpful.

Did you have a local mentor, or did you do it all by yourself? You'll be head guru in no time.

that is one clean 6 banger. one ?. do you have a pic. with the breather on and what breather did you use? i guess this is a two part?....frank...
