It’s a Vinton rubber real seal made by Best Gasket. They don’t sell them but I have a source that has 500 in stock.
Olson Gasket in Washington State.

Yes they are my go to seal on these old girls.

The original manufacturer of them has stopped making them from what I heard, so I bought up as many as I could.

I've yet to find a new supplier of them. I have heard Mahle make a one piece one you trim to length but I have not tried them yet.

I heard that the new rope seals are poor quality.
The ends fray when cut. I also read that they are no longer made of asbestos.
Best Gasket makes rope seals for many old engines including the small Ford six.
