250 Cross Flow Rear Main Seal

I have what I think is a 74 Ford Cross Flow I rebuilt. It’s attached to C4 Transmission. Shortly after rebuild the rear main seal started dripping.
I need a source for the seal. Apparently it is the larger seal. CD1973C2-D3EB-48CA-AC14-D3E21EEFF7F3.jpeg

Crossflows didn't exist in 74 and that is a crossflow block. Check the side of the block its will have 8*DA. If its a one piece seal there are three sizes from memory with either 92mm and 95mm I.D

This should have a "rope seal" These are sold a strip of seal that is straight, it must be fitted into the block and rear mains bearing cap according to the ford instructions. the grooves in the crank where the seal runs need to be cleaned of any muck there. They are notorious for leaking, if its just a weep, Id ignore it. BTW it a big job to change it, engine out sump off, crank out. The blocks can be modified for a lip seal, but this requires complete dissassembly of the engine.
