Smokes and Rattles, but runs!

As of late i've been up to my eyeballs trying to get my old Mustang coupe running... And to tell the truth, i didn't think the engine would run even if i knelt down and prayed to the almighty car deity.

Turns out, i was wrong, about 15 minutes fiddling around with the duraspark II box and about another 15 bolting a fresh starter on, and it fired off, after i filled the carb with gasoline. It ran for the first time in 12 years. Although poorly and just a little above idle when i'd give it throttle, but it did run.


Figured i'd just inform of my progress....

The engine will be kept streetable, maybe a mild build, nothing radical, just a street cruiser, weekend driver.

Of course i know it'll last forever, its a ford Six!
