General Question:

What's the size of the Spark Plug's Gap when it comes to the CI Aluminum Head?

And if there's no particular number because it all depends on your project, whats

a good starting point and why? 35mm? 45mm? Are there any Tech Articles on

the Classic inlines Page?

Gap will be decided by ignition system used your coils power and control etc. Start with a .032 to .035 if you have a hot coil you might be able to go as much as .065.

With a DUI .050 to .055 will work for plugs you could go with Autolite Racing AR3931 or your favorite equiv. brand of plugs

thanks for the info. Im looking in the summitracing website ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRM-AR3931/).
Spark Plug thread size is 14mm and Spark Plug Reach is .750 inch. for the Autolite Racing AR3931.
If I go with another brand, would I have to make sure the sparkplug is 14mm and has a reach of .750?
would the APP3924 fit? ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRM-APP3924). and the type of material the spark plug
has (copper, Platinum, Iridium, Nickel). I"m assuming each material has better advantages than the other.

Im going to use my mustang as a daily driver. 200CID block, 5 spd, 2v autolite, aluminum head. THanks for the help.

Yes they would need to be! Okay than for a daily driver forget about the race plugs not needed (unless you have a turbo) standard Autolite AP3922 Platinum should work great.
