i read somewhere (I think on this site) that this is what u should be doing. the gap gets smaller as the compression goes up but i dont think u have to change it untill about a 10:1 compression ratio.
I'VE GOT THE GM MODULE IN PLACE RIGHT NOW AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE-STILL ON STOCK COIL THOUGH. I AM GOING TO PUT ON A HOTTER COIL IN THE FUTURE-UNFORTUNATELY, THE NIGHTS ARE STARTING TO GET REAL COLD HERE AND MY DRIVING WILL BE HALTED DUE TO ROAD SALT!I'LL TRY TO BUMP UP THE GAP AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS-THANX!
It is a K&N Air Filter. I went on line from the K&N web site, selected find a dealer and then looked up the specs online I needed, flange height, diamter, angle, offset and basically picked an exact fit. Works great.
Sorry don't have the model number.
Was about $29
Good luck,
Steve-O
