Alright y'all I have this wierd problem going on with my starter/transmission. The starter sounds as if it is pinging against the flywheel and then just spinning freely. Its a BB200 backed up to a C5. I've tried two different size starters as well as adding and taking out shims to get a different spacing. At one time I was actually able to start it, but then I realized my gas gauge wasn't working, ran out of gas and have since not been able to start it. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the flywheel got warped or something along those lines. No one I've talked to down here has any ideas. thanks for your help.
