Stripped Head Bolt Solution?

Ok. Finally got the engine back in and started the head torque down sequence when one of the head bolts gave out at the 65 pound level . It's the block that stripped out, last bolt on the drivers side as well. What's the best solution to repair?

8) I agree!.the Helicoil is the way to go! Your other option is to tap the hole or head with larger bolts.

Helicoil.

You will have to drill and tap the head for a larger thread to install the helicoil, then you can use your existing head bolt.

Well, I tried three solutions:

First, I went to sleep and awoke to see if it was a bad nitemare.
It didn't go away!
Second, I tried the majic wand.
Waste of five bucks!
Third, I went to town and picked up my helicoil kit.
Sweet and easy!!!
