Supercharged 300 running on LP?

I'm going to supercharge the 300 in my 54 F100. I need to completely replace the fuel system on my truck. I'm considering running it on LP.

I'm not very familiar with the LP systems. So I'm wondering how I should go about setting it up. Do you run a injector/mixer ( whatever it's called ) before the blower or would you inject it right into the intake after the blower ( supercharger will be mounted on the intake ) ? Will running LP thru the blower cause any issue's for the blower??

Where do I get the LP equipment needed?

Any good website links for this info?

I'm clueless on this!:D Someone help me out! :?

what is LP "liquid propane" if thats what it is i would put it after the blower liquid propane will cool the incoming air
and help with the power.
i wouls run gas and just PI(propain inject) it thats what i did with my truck

Yes Liquid Propane.

No dual fuel system, too much BS.

I wanted to run E85 but I don't think the carb or blower (draw thru ) would appreciate it. I don't want to run EFI. So that leaves either gasoline with a low octane rating or LP.

Sign up for "Fullboost" forums, and start browsing.

You'll probably run two smaller converters rather than one large unit, but that might be cheaper and easier to source. There's no risk the gas vapor will condense so you could go draw-through, but blow-through will work fine.

A MN winter could make startup interesting, but then it would go like stink.

Thanks for the info Addo. I'll check out Fullboost. I'd prefer to run a draw thru set up if I can. Right now I'm trying to find a cheap Eaton M112 supercharger. If I can't find a M112 then I'll be running dual M90's.

Winters won't be a problem This truck will be parked for the winters. This is going to be my spring thru fall Hotrod/parts hauler.

These are pictures from one company who supply a lot of performance gas gear. You'll see the dual converters as mentioned, and a draw-through setup.

In a nutshell, I'd suggest your specs will be 7½-8:1 CR, higher lift but less overlap cam compared to stock, smaller plug gaps, less all-in timing coming in sooner.
