Swapping a rochester 2b onto my 67 200ci?

“...Would you suggest swapping out the ..."
toward what end?
Like the guy said “What’s the best ford engine?"
(no “for me”, no detail on application...
at what cost, sequence of operations, jet change, etc
Better Qs get better, more detailed, whole answers

Did you have to widen the base of the factory filter, or did it fit the 2V? I know the large 1V factory filter fits a Rochester- another plus for that carb.
Where did you purchase that carburator? Did you have to change out the jets or modify it in any way, and most importantly, how much of a gain in performance did you get over the stock single barrel carburater. I was looking at the 32/36 2v weber conversion kit, but if you think the Rochester set up you did most likely will give the 200 a bit more hp, I would like to do some research and maybe go that route.
Thank you for the pics I look forward to getting a little more info from you if you don't mind.
Jeff 👍

If you are talking about the 65 falcon air cleaner fitting the Large base Rochestor it was as much work a making the carb adapter.

This carb + adapter are on a large log D7 head with an enlarged intake bore. The head is milled .060. It has an HEI distributor with a quick centrifugal advance curve. It has a header with a single 2-1/4" exhaust adapted to a 2-2-1/2' turbo muffler. This carb replaced a 270 cfm 2V.
It made a great increase in performance.
You need to learn what to do first performance wise.
A speed part salesperson won't help you. He or she might sell you a racing cam and or a weber 2V with a funnel adapter while knowing that you are running an LOM carb-distributor.

Got it, I have a small log 67 200 in a 67 mustang, so this carb set up I don't would work on my motor. You've got a very cool unique carb set up in that car

The small based Rochester may be what will work for your small log 67 head.
