tach tips

Looking for a good buy on a tach for my Bronco to mount on the steering column. Interested in knowing about what rpm I tend to shift up through the gears.
If you have a source for new or have a used one for sale let me know.

even if you aren't 'holding the red line', a tach with a shift lite is more fun. I have an inexpensive Tach with integral shift lite in the Comet 250,and set different shift points for test-n-tune and it helps keep things in control when over-enthusiastic ...

That does look like fun...
You probably have a high performance motor so need a performance tach!
Instead of good buy maybe i should have said cheap or close to it. Looking to see what rpm range I tend to drive in so will know which cam to buy. I have a pretty good idea but curious about the actual numbers.
The final phase of my Bronco build will most likely have in dash gauges so this column mount is temporary. Anything would work for me is there a phone app for this?

In the lower budget Tach's there is the SunPro line (see below link) nothing fancy but they do work Pretty Good. I think they also have some of the smaller 2 5/8 inch dia. versions too for about $32.00. Good luck
