hey guys.
Just aquired a Tc with a 250 cast iron in it and i am having problems fitting extractors to it. Tried 2 now and they both hit the cross member that runs under the transmission. If anyone has found a set that overcomes this problem could you please let me know. Otherwise can i lose the cross member. Prefer not to though

youre talking about that after thought that fords bolted to the chassis rails and runs under the rear of the motor near the ring gear????

i strongly recoment you dont remove this item , my mates tc didnt have one, there a prick of an idea, he yad a cross flow with extractors.

mabie fabricate one to fit or unbolt it, fit youre extractors then bolt it back up

Yeah thats the one. Prefered not to take it off but even if i did and then fitted the extractors it would not go back on. hopefully I can find some bent to avoid it.

my mate has a tc wagon with extractors illtake a look at his next time im there im pretty sure his has the weird crossmember that your talking about

Thanks, I have taken the crossmember off now and started fitting the extractors. Will try and put it back on after there fitted. hopefully the extractors will bend a bit and it will fit.
