Been a while since I posted here, the car was on the back burner for a while.
Happy to announce that the 83 marquis running again.
Stuff was getting frustrating for a while with the exhaust and a random transmission leak.
I put the ebay dual outlet header on for a while, no way to get exhaust pipes on for a low mount starter foxbody.
The collector flange contacts the starter. It may work on a high mount foxbody.
I was advised to replace to o-ring on the dipstick for the c5 transmission, and that solved my leaking issue.
I found the Scott Drake High flow manifold to replace the ebay header.
To make an exhaust for a foxbody with the pre-emissions style header all you need is 2 90 degree pipes and a collector flange.
You can use a 45 to extend that pipe down the the transmission cross member.
Now I'm just waiting on summit to deliver a muffler and a 45 inch tube so I can complete the exhaust system (it's loud)
Fuel line needs to be redone as it leaks with the air cleaner installed.
