I have a 1982 mecury zepher with a 200 6cyl, is this book still usefull for a 1982? I want to port the head and find a master rebuild kit. I like a lot of low end power with good idle. I have a c5 trans. and a 1946c carb, I am thinking of a turbo but I hate turbo lag.

A properly sized turbo will make more hp than N/A and will not have noticeable lag...Just a thought.
