What are the more "simple" options for fuel injecting a 1966 170ci? I have a 170 in a '66 Bronco that I use for 4-wheeling, and I am wanting fuel injection so it will handle the steep stuff better without stalling. Take note that the word simple was in quotation marks indicating I know there is no such thing. Maybe simpler is a better word. I am most interested in the 4-wheeling improvements and I'm not concerned whether or not there is an improvement in gas mileage or performance over the carb. I assume that throttle body injection is the way to go? I was looking at these kits from Weber at http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/weberinjection.asp
I don't mind spending the cash, but are there any other cheaper options out there? If I fuel inject the 170 I am also thinking about turbocharging it, any thoughts on this. Has anybody on here turbo'd a 170 before? I am probably going to hack the intake log and build a smoother intake manifold for it.
Thanks.
