Got my crossflow today and it is in my garage on the stand! This is something I have been working towards for about 4 years now. I just installed the heat in the new 2 car garage too. After years of playing around with my 200 in my unheated 1 car garage, I feel so lucky to be in this position!
This engine is a real thing of beauty. It does have the stock manifold and carb so I think that a redline intake and a 2V carb would be the way to go. I know that most of you crossflow guys go with headers but I must say that the stock exhaust manifold is such a nice piece, I am actually considering using it for a while to save some cash.
Can anyone give me some info on my motor?
Numbers on block JG23Y 104630
numbers on block below intake 80DA 6015AG
numbers on intake 80DA-9425-ab
Would anyone would be willing to pick up a shop manual for me and mail it to me? (of course I will pay for it) PM me.
Thanks guys! Can't tell you how awesome it feels to have this engine here and to have this project off the ground!
