Thermostat temp, rocker assembly bolt torque & Plug gap

Getting closer to restart with new clay smith cam, 264/264/110. Installed new lifters, dual roller timing set and 302 springs as well. I only drive the comet in the spring, summer and fall. So is it best just to run a 160 thermostat? What's the correct torque for the rocker assembly bolts? I am using the GM module, pertronix flame thrower coil, a 78 ford Fairmont distributer not sure if that is considered a I or II duraspark. I have not picked out the plug wires yet but they will be 8mm wires, I am open to any suggestions. Where is a good place to start the plug gap at? Using Autolite 46 plugs.

Thanks have a great weekend cold but sunny and windy here.

i would run a 180 thermostat.

plug gaps should be set at .040-.045", i have found that to work best with electronic ignition.

regardless of what brand you choose for plug wires. dont cheap out there, you will regret it. also you want a spiral wound plug wire for best results.
