hey guys, is there an easy way to know if ya thermostats buggered ?

You can check them by taking it out and putting in a glass of boiling water to see if it opens.

or if its out anyways then u could get a new one for a few bucks and you wouldnt even have to strain your brain to figgure out if the old one works or not....

thanks guys but its ok now... i think i was just panicking a little due to my recent overheating.... didtn know whether was problem with thermostat, or radiator... however my uncle is a radiator mech, and he looked for me, the only reason it was overheating was due to fancy looking chrome style fan and the 40deg temp!!!! so if anyone has a big ol fan and boss lying around in perth to suit an XC let me know
