Looking for a rebuildable fuel pump so don't have to rely on china made ones. Found a few on ebay.
I like that better. It is rebuildable also?Ones without the glass sediment bowl or filter canister are a bit more compact.

Does that one have vacuum?, you are still looking for one that does right?I like that better. It is rebuildable also?
No sir that unit does not have vacuum but I now believe that I will not find a fuel pump with vacuum for my 1966 Bronco 250 with vacuum wipers, as the 250 was first available in 1969? and Ford did not have vacuum wipers on vehicles then as they were all electric. I found 170/200 pumps with vacuum for wipers and while it could be made to work on the 250 I am now on the lookout for a rebuildable non-vac fuel pump for a 250 and will go with my original idea of a vac reservoir possibly with electric feature. I believe these may be on vehicles I could find at picnpul. And from what I remember my Bronco wipers are currently using vac from some other source any way so I may be fine with a non-electric vac reservoir. Either way I feel a reservoir is the best solution for vacuum wiper performance.Does that one have vacuum?, you are still looking for one that does right?
Maybe not as much for the Ford stuff. The AMC is a small market, there's two companies in the mid west that specialize- supply low demand high. . Good guys, old generation and pros; they're not ripping folks off, just know they have a niche.I understand about WOT! When the 170/3 speed was in it WOT was frequent but not with the 250. Yes probably don't need electric just a reservoir and certainly many candidates at picnpull I can remember seeing them occasionally while scavenging good stuff.
The pump I have now is a newer replacement crimp together unit that was likely purchased about 15 years ago when the 250 went in. Couple hundred is a bit more than what I expected though but just the way it is.
NOS would be the best for sure and will keep looking on ebay and others. So now looking for two rebuildable pumps, one for a 200 and one for a 250. No vacuum needed.Maybe not as much for the Ford stuff. The AMC is a small market, there's two companies in the mid west that specialize- supply low demand high. . Good guys, old generation and pros; they're not ripping folks off, just know they have a niche.
Keep looking on ebay for NOS, there's no need to rebuild a crimped aftermarket pump IMO.
I noticed in the application chart it is for 144/170. I doubt if a 200 would be a different pump unless it has higher volume which seems unlikely. Will try to contact the seller just to be sure.I like that better. It is rebuildable also?
