Thoughts on a Sticky topic...

Possible Sticky Idea:

One barrel to two barrel carb swaps and adapters...and associated throttle cable conversions.


I know I asked a lot of questions while doing this and I see this topic come up quite a bit.

Any think this would be a good Sticky? We could post before and after photos of our conversions and cable set ups.

hmmmm I dunno how many pics I have but I could post some up. it was relativly easy and quite cost efficient.

i did a swap where i used the mechanical linkage(i think thats wut its called) and just modified it heavily to make it work ill try to get som pictures to show u wut i mean cause this linkage to too off the wall to belive if i tried to describe it

yeah we need some kind of sticky about it... there is a new question every week :roll:

The stickies are fine but some of them are hard to find the good info in because they sometimes stray a bit from the topic or get too many posts with a small tidbit in each one. It can be a lot to digest and some important details can be missed. On the otherhand some minor detail may be just the info someone else needs. I think it would be better if the sticky just had the info and the pics related direct to the topic. I know that would require someone to go in and edit the posts down and someone to watch and add things to them from time to time as needed. I also know that is a lot to ask for a 'free' board where there is not a full time paid staff.

Just my 2 cents worth.......
