Hi all.
It seems that the main part of the direct mounting process is the furnace brazing. Now, it's not that I can't get it done here, I'm just tossing ideas. Iv'e worked with "liquid metal" from Wurth on several occations, tough as nails and you can even reinforce the stuff with fibre mats for the tougher jobs. Anyone tried that for the platform under the adapter? May be it can't survive the gasoline ? Also wondering, how much narrower is the opening in the log vs the combined diameter of the two holes in the carb base? I'm shooting for 20, 30 % diffrence?
