And they turn 200 rpm also. . . . I concur with the next-to-last paragraph, it sure looks like it would transfer the lateral force to the piston. Better rig an oil spray squirter too (like the big diesels). . In the first pic, the rod on the far fight is marked "good". WTH? The other 3 are bad? LOL . .

The bottom rod looks like a nice piece, and I suppose they all do when new, with a name lasered on the side and laying on the office desk. The upper looks like it could serve purpose as a lifter alignment girdle. But then again, I don't always see things correctly.
