Needed an inch-pound talk wench. My usual supplier was off-hand when called, and quoted "between $400 and $600" for the W&B units. Seeing that I've spent so much with them over the years, this lack of basic service/courtesy irritated me, and I did a little internet browsing.
What I found was a place in Melbourne called "Just Tools". Got it there for $208 all up; arrived 47 hours after ordering. It's lovely. In the package were a few other catalogues/flyers, and I noted the circular saw I bought for $385 two years ago (aforementioned local shop), is $310 there.
Seems a pretty good "discovery", these guys - although others may have had different experiences.
Anyone else got names to drop, for buying tools or engine parts (where you don't have to have a trade order)?
