trans to engine adapter?

Does anyone know of an adapter for a 144 to fit a c-4 trans. As I wrote before i'm looking at the change to help out the 144 with new carb get going...Thanks David for the info on this and the rear end question. If I can get this trans in that would be so nice........Thanks , Jake

I believe what you need is a later model bell housing. I had a 64 Futura that came with a c-4. some bell housings even came with holes for both the 2 speed and the c-4. I had some surgery yesterday thus the percaset may have me a little confused though
