Truck Dizzy in a convertible mustang 200

Can anyone tell me if Ford Motorcraft 1965/1969 Ford Truck Distributor, for use with 300 C.I.D. six cylinder motor can be used in a 1968 Ford Mustang 200 engine?

The 300 cid part is Ford part number C5TZ-12127-L, Ford Motorcraft part number DA-915.

I'd hate to buy it and not have it fit.

It will not work. Totally differnent engine.
