Turbo + nitrous = the good stuff!!!

Oh yea! I just put all the old nitrous kit back on the turbo six. Man what a HUGE diffrence a 50 shot makes! The car now gets sideways from a second gear kick! It has NEVER done that before EVER! It keeps blowing the turbo piping off every few nitrous hits though. I guess it just spikes the pressure up really quickly. Other than that is it running great. I have the wide band on it and it is staying at 12.3:1 A/F on the bottle and 12 psi. I am running almost 100% 114 octane gass and have not herd any rattle at all. Who needs an intercooler when you have nitrous. I need to take it back to the track big time, but traction will be a big problem now without some tires. I wonder how much the stock rear end will take? It has taken a lot of 2.0 60's with the 13s so far. I wish it was as tough as my stock four main 200! It is still going! You got to love the 200. And you really got to love TWO power adders on it! Just thought I would tell you guys about that. It is too much fun!

well I spent my summer break fixing my merkur between work, vacation and surgery....and now I am selling it. I go tmy 200 back together and will be finishing welding my log manifold hopfully tomorrow so that will be ready to bolt in the car over xmas break (I hate not having a garage at school) so I should have my turbo motor (and T5) running in 2005.

Thats is awsome!!!!!!!!! Was your time in the 13's with nitrous or just the turbo. Besides the turbo and nitrous whata re you running? That is sweet!!!
