Update on my 85 Mustang Coupe/3.3L I6 project.

Our Car club (Indy Fox Bodies) had our first annual (And hopefully only annual) "Help Get Mark's Mustang Running" party. We had a large garage with heat and hoist and compressor. Also had a cookout with hamburgers and hot dogs.

We got a lot accomplished.

Engine is in car, and bolted down.
C4 is installed.
Alternator bracket and PS bracket are installed
Water pump and fuel pump are installed
Radiator and hoses are installed.
Starter Solenoid and Voltage regulator are installed
Battery cables and starter cables installed.

Need carb spacer and plumb fuel lines
Need cap, rotor, and wires. Trying to find Motorcraft to keep somewhat stock look.
Need radiator cap, heater hoses, and radiator cap.

Wont be drivable but hope to start it and break in motor next session. (Has SN95 front and rear discs but none of the hardware or plumbing to install yet)


Anyone know what size bolts I need for power steering pump bracket (The two short ones)

Did you change the K-member over to the 79-82 3.3L one or retrofit the one in your 85?

When I bought the 81 I6 and C4 I also got the complete 81 I6 K-member and that was swapped into car.
