I am intersted in knowing if using a 240cfm for a center carburetor and 2 190cfm 2bbl end carbs. I want to know what type of vacuum modulators would I need to make the end carbs work? Also what type of maching to the end carbs to make the modulators activate the butterflys? This is not a new idea, Dodge did this on the old Six packs. I just dont think 1500 cfm will work on my 250cid engine.
Thanks,
Ken

It is very easy to do, Ken.

The only requirement is two vacuum secondary dash pots and two lines tapped into the venturi area of the centre carb.

Basically, you are creating a divorced five barrel carb, with one centre 1-bbl carb, and two vac sec outer carbs.

There is nothing to it. You can then play around with the spring weights to tune the action of the outer carbs.

If you look through any Holley book, there is a picture of how a vac sex carb works. Duplicated that, and your dough is bread!
