Just wondering....
How do you set vacuum advance if your under boost since the engine won't be making vacuum? Can you plug off your vacuum port and run on just mechanical? How does the MSD boost master timing module work?
I'm daydreaming of an Eaton mounted where my power steering pump is now. I can run two v-belts off the crank pulley from there. The super coupe's m90 should give 6 to 8 pounds, I think? Conical filter into the rear of the air pump and right out the top into the carb. An intercooler would be pretty easy to hook up but from what I've read it shouldn't be necessary with that boost level.
Other than the timing issues will the mechanical pump supply enough fuel? Will the HW 5200 work for the carb? Can you get solid floats for it?
