All Small Six Chasing vacuum leaks..the saga has ended.

Saga has ended. It runs perfect now.
So the last 2 things I did was add an extra spring to the throttle linkage at the carb so it always rests on the idle screw which was some of the cause of the higher idle. The other thing was to set the timing at idle to 6 btdc. I was setting it at 10 like I read to do but the factory tag on the valve cover says 6 and at 6 it idles perfectly in park and in drive. So a driving I will go.

Nice! Nothing is better than driving around your properly sorted inline 6 cruiser.
