Hello, I'm new and just posted in the wanted section. But, I will post here as well. I am looking for speed equip. fpr my 1950 "H" Foed flathead six. Edmunds, Evans and or Knudsen and Wilson aluminum finned head, intake manifold for dual carbs.(two Holley 847's), cast iron headers or a split exhaust manifold. Also, I'm looking for a Mallory dual point dist. for my six. Thank you in advance for you input.

Don't worry about purchasing headers. Make your own plit exhaust manifold or have it made by a good welder who can weld cast iron. You need one car manifold, which I assume you have, and one truck manifold which should be cheep. You will find that the car and truck manifolds have their outlets in different places (I don't currently remeber which is which). One exits in front of the carbutetor heat chamber area and the other exits an equal distance behind the carburetor heat chamber. Cut them vertically in the middle of the carburetor heat chamber, and weld the two exit portions of the manifolds together. Put a divider in there and you have a very nice factory looking split exhaust manifold that still heats the carburetor for cold weather (assuming a good job). Good luck

I checked, the car manifold exits behind the carb, the truck in front of the carb.

I send ALL my manifolds to: Kanas Kustoms: Call Mike at (316) 6633256

not completely positive, but i b'lieve that Reds has some stuff for those, as well as flathead jacks.

those are two good places to start lookin either way for the flatty parts.

To 226 flatty: Forget about Reds and Flathead Jacks. They have nothing for the flatty six motors. Try this site: www.vintagespeed.com
When it comes to Ford flat six high performance parts. yougot to dig deep into the bowels of research, but you must know where to look. Anything and everything is a possability. Even try going to out of country sites such as Austrailia. You can do this by going to Ebay motors and going to the Austrailia web site. Most parts can be fabricated by companys but it will cost you big time. It all depends on how much you want to run aside from the pack, so to say. If I can help. ask away. Vinny G

For Sale; here is a very rare Knudsen aluminum tri-power aluminum single barell intake manifold. this manifold is used but in excellent condition. Make offer starting at $900.00

Vinny, how can a 3 x 2 intake be a single barrel intake? IMPOSSIBLE

I drink Marguerita's; but I believe you are drinking something stronger

Sorry my typo error........The manifold is a 3x1 Knudsen. I had to go into the shop and dig it out for a peek-see......The price is firm.......
