WANTED, 223 ford six cyl

I am looking to help an old friend of mine, he's a vet. We're all getting older.
He has got a 1954 Ford Coupe- (2 door).
The engine is toast, and I'm hoping for a runnable 223.
I'm in Northern Ca, near SF. Hoping to find an engine near enough to drive to.
