All Small Six Weiand on a 200ci

This relates to all small sixes
The biggest challenge of the project is to figure out where to fit the turbocharger along with the intake and exhaust systems.

If you want to run up to 20 psi of boost and make big power at relatively high rpm you are looking at forged pistons with the aftermarket Toyota 1JZ connecting rods.
Solid lifter camshaft and a ported big valve head.
 
I don't think that I can really afford that...
I understand. I was giving you the "all out" version.
You asked for a ball park cost.
Part of that cost is based on how much fabrication you can do yourself on the intake and exhaust systems.

The turbo system consists of the following components
Turbocharger
Wastegate
Blowoff valve
Intercooler
Either a Throttle Body or Port injection EFI system
CD ignition system.
 
Altho I have not read the whole thread I C a typical problem of embeding the answ in the Q. I all ways C it come out quicker w/a problem statement and the expirts have at it.
"I wanna put the hilborn style on my car w/it centered to the hood not to the carb side" how do I do that?

"How can I X?"
I'm already to #7 and see it going sideways...

If you are running an elec. fuel pump insulate the under hood fuel line.
I found that on hot summer days the under hood heat got my elec. pump fuel line hotter than hell.
I don't heat the fuel by running it thru a mechanical pump.
I Installed "5/16 ID Heat Shielded Fire Thermo Armor Fire Sleeve Silicone Coated Fiberglass" over my under hood fuel line.
It works great. My carb. is now fed with much cooler fuel so it runs cool.
