Well six years ago I picked up my 67 bronco and thought it was a 170 cid.
She has run great (most of the time) But after sitting for about a year with random start up's I was ready to put her back in service only to find the fuel pump was not pumping, Went to get the pump only to find that the one called for in the parts book was set up to mount upside down. We found one off a mid 70's 6 that fit. I get it on and start her up and no sooner do I get her started and I blow about every seal on the carb which was held together by wire and tape, So I get a rebuilt 1100 from the carb shop, get it home and find the holes that hold it to the intake are to small also linkage would not hook up right so I check the casting numbers on the block and find them to be for a 78 200 cid I have five freeze plugs.
The casting number is
D8BE
6015-GE
Can anyone tell me more?
