Hey all, I'm thinking about getting one of those package deals from fordsixparts.com but I don't really know which one I should get. I'm thinking that because the OZ head is limited supply maybe I should get that one first, just to make sure I have one while they are available. My plan is to get all 3 packages and have them installed by next August. What kind of power can I expect? I don't wan't a drag strip car, I am just out for a fun weekend street toy. 14 or 15 in the quarter would be fun. I decided to stay six, just to be different. The car I will be putting it in is a 70 Ford Maverick (Grabber wanna-be) I will probobly have to change some of the drivetrain also, not sure the 7.5 rear will handle the OZ.

The Packages.

Hmm.... that link to my car doesn't work, use this one instead, Mine is the second from the bottom. :D

I went with the whole enchilada except at the time the T-stat housing wasn't availble and I had to grab my own Oz head (Mike helpped me on that too!). I haven't installed it all yet but I'm sure it can get a Maverick into the 15's with the right carb, jets, drive train, and rear gears.

You can't go wrong with Mike (AZCOUPE). If Mike is out of Oz heads, you may be able to get an Argie head and use Package A and B.

Hope that helps,

No one here will say a bad thing about Mike and his parts. (mainly because he is connected to the FSP Mafia ;) )

Seriously, all his parts are top quality. So far I have only installed the Double Roller Timing Chain, but it is a very nice piece. I have on order the oil pain, aussie head, and some other small stuff. I would have gotten a cam from him but I bought mine before his were available.

Generally, you can't go wrong with his stuff. If you want the Aussie head, just be patient though, they take a while to track down.
