what plug wires?

what brand plug wires should I get/ What to get. For DSII, GM HEI wires work? with an extra wire connectors for the coil?

If you are using the regular ds2 cap, the one with the male ends that clips on, just get a set of wires for any car with a 200(or whatever engine you have) after 1975. You should have at least 2 choices at most parts stores, a $25ish one and a better one that could be more in the $50 and up range. I went with the cheapos because I still dont have my oil leaks stopped and I didnt want to wreck a good set. The 6's are fairly easy because they are all on the same side with few things in the way so the length is not critical. The set will come with the short coil wire. GM hei ones may fit but wont have the coil wire and IIRC some of the GM 6's had 45* boots which you dont need on the fords.

I used Accel 8.8mm wires on my old Duraspark because I made a heck of a deal on them and I'm a cheap bastard

Heh. Me too. Only running the stock dizzy now though. I have a DS2 coming that I won on epay for $20. I'm going to use the DS1 cap and reuse my wires or buy the new style terminals and crimp 'em on.

I think the ds1 cap uses the same wires as the points cap. I was going to go that route too but I found out that no one stocks the ds1 cap in my area (top 20? size metro area) and there was only one choice and it was not cheap. The DS2's and all the related parts are in stock everywhere in all brands and qualities to choose from. Final cost was about the same and I got it when I wanted it, I did buy cheap stuff because I was still working on other issues and didnt want to sink a ton into the ignition till I got some other things working better like the brakes for example.

The DS1 does have a points-style cap.

Rockauto.com has a cap and rotor kit for 15 bucks. I looked up a 1975 Maverick for the parts.

So the total so far is $20 for the distributor, $15 for cap and rotor. Looks like the module will be by far the most expensive, though there is a Mallory Hy-Fire going for 10 bucks ATM on ebay.
