WHATS WRONG WITH MY CAR

i have an xf carby and went to start it the other day and it wouldnt idle properly and if i tried to drive it just stalled. i went out and started it later that day and it ran fine. then yeasterday i was driving home and it started running rough and i had to drive home at a snails pace. then today it was running fine again until tonight when i went to start it and it was just running rough again. any ideas what the problem could be?

A quick guess would suggest your ignition system, possibly the coil. But if we knew a little more about the motor's condition, it'd be easier to give an accurate response.

got another carby and put it on and she runs luvly now.
